Dennis Roghair started his carving
career in 1957 when he received a pocket knife as a gift. Today
he sculpts beautiful woodcarvings mainly using a chainsaw. Dennis
with his wife Bev, make their home in Hinckley, Minnesota. Dennis
works at his store, Kettle River Carving Company, creating beautiful
and amazingly detailed sculptures. He has traveled many places to
do commissioned work or shows etc. His sculptures are very evident
at the Minnesota State Fair grounds, the Governors Mansion, and
the U. of M. His work has been purchased by individuals from around
the world including countries such as Japan, Germany, France, and
Denmark to name a few.
We
